Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cyberkiz website (https://cyberkiz.com) and all services provided by Cyberkiz LLP. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Cyberkiz LLP provides:

  • Cyber Explorers Academy: Cybersecurity education programmes for children ages 6-18
  • Anti-Scam Programme: Scam awareness workshops for individuals and organisations
  • SME Cybersecurity: Security assessments, advisory, and managed security services for businesses

2. Enrolment & Payments

  • Academy enrolments are confirmed upon receipt of payment
  • All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance and may be cancelled with 30 days written notice
  • Once-off service engagements require a 50% deposit to commence, with the balance due upon delivery

3. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Academy: Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice. No refunds for partial months.
  • Bootcamps: Full refund if cancelled 7+ days before start date. 50% refund for 3-6 days notice. No refund within 48 hours.
  • Workshops: Rescheduling available with 48 hours notice. No-shows are non-refundable.
  • SME Services: Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Scope changes may incur additional fees.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, and assessment frameworks — is the property of Cyberkiz LLP and protected by Malaysian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

5. Confidentiality

For SME security services, both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all assessment findings, reports, and business information exchanged during the engagement. Assessment reports are for the client's internal use only.

6. Limitation of Liability

Cyberkiz LLP provides security assessments and recommendations in good faith based on industry best practices. We do not guarantee that your systems will be free from all vulnerabilities or that a security incident will not occur. Our liability is limited to the value of the service engagement fee paid.

7. Children & Minors

Academy programmes for participants under 18 require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring accurate enrolment information and maintaining communication with our team.

8. Website Use

  • You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose
  • You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our website without notice

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sarawak, Malaysia.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
